Co-Op / Internship Program

Offered to Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Engineering and Architectural Engineering students to gain experience and management skills.

Students will assist superintendents & project management on active job sites and be expected to travel to various project locations.

This position requires 40-50 hours a week.

Co-Op Responsibilities

  • On-site assistance to project management in daily activities of on-going projects.
  • Update and maintain project schedules.
  • Assist with material take-offs, procurement and tracking.
  • Perform testing of piles and tieback anchors.
  • Maintain and submit weekly timecards for employees on the project.
  • Communicate project progress to supervisors, project management and clients.
  • Perform and manage quality control measures.

Program Qualifications

  • Ability to manage and effectively communicate with others.
  • Basic Construction Management and Civil Engineering knowledge.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Eagerness to learn.
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Time management.
  • Ability to travel out of town.
